After marrying the love of my life and becoming a mom to two beautiful babies, Lucy and Alfredo (along with two fur babies), I decided my life wasn’t crazy enough and started this MADE community. MADE was built from a desire to create a space where you could find meaningful gifts for family and friends, a challenge that I’ve always loved. Or maybe you’re looking for something just for you because I also believe sometimes you need to treat yourself! Whatever the case is, you can find something truly unique at MADE. 

 

But my dream doesn’t stop there. MADE was created with the intention to build a community. A community of strong, supportive, loving people who know the power that words can have on themselves and the ones they love. That’s why every word stitched onto an item is done with the intention of sending love and positive vibes out into the world. 

 

Life is a journey that for the most part is out of our control, but one thing we do have power over is the way we show up in the world. That’s one of the many lessons my mom taught me. To be kind, give back, always have a positive outlook, and never take the people you love for granted. She lived by these values every day, even when diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimers at the young age of 57. Even in the toughest of times, she always had a smile on her face. 

 

As a way to honour my mom’s legacy, a portion of every MADE purchase will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society, to support advances in research and provide care for those with the disease. This is just part of our commitment to make a positive impact on our community and I know that it would make my mom proud. 

 

Everything you see on our website was thoughtfully curated for a family member, friend, or something that has sparked joy inside of us. We are committed to building a community that lifts each other up, understands the importance of self-love, and finds joy in giving back.
